Stephanie Gagnon, Ph.D.
Experimental Specialist, Lab Manager
I did my Ph.D. in the School of Sports, Exercise, and Health Sciences at Loughborough University in the U.K. on the role of mTORC1 pathway in aging skeletal muscle. I then went on to work as a research assistant in Dr. Anne Brunet's lab at Stanford University where I studied genetic factors underlying aging in mouse neural stem cells. In 2023, I joined the Singh Lab as a Specialist.
Aakriti Singh
Computational Biologist
I am a recent M.S. graduate from the University of Southern California. My degree is in biochemistry with an emphasis in bioinformatics. I really enjoy working with genetics data and contributing to research from a data perspective. In my free time, I like to run (I’m training for a half marathon), read, crochet, and cook!
Diana Owen
Specialist
I am a recent graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in biochemistry. At Cal Poly, I worked as an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Katharine Watts' lab, studying the biosynthetic mechanisms of a natural product from a soil-derived actinobacteria. In the Singh Lab, I am interested in discovering the genetic and biochemical mechanisms of unique killifish phenotypes. Outside of the lab, I enjoy dancing, skiing, and live music with friends!
